About:

Dr. Bhanukiran Gurijala obtained his undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering from India in 2005. He received master’s degree in Software Engineering from University of Houston-Clear Lake, Houston, Texas in 2008 and Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Texas at El Paso, El Paso, Texas in 2016.

His primary areas of research interests are in Software Engineering and Cyber-security.

Dr. Gurijala has a good combination of experience working in academia and industry. He has over five years of experience working in the software industry and over three years of experience working full-time in academia. While working in the industry, Dr. Gurijala worked at different capacities in different roles and shouldered various responsibilities. He also helped manage cyber-security efforts in a product-based company.
